Our Programs

Kingdom West Montessori serves students from early childhood through upper elementary, combining the Montessori method with a Christ-centered approach to education. Our classrooms are designed to help children grow in independence, confidence, and love of learning while also forming character, faith, and responsibility.

We begin with three classrooms and small class sizes to ensure a peaceful, focused, and joyful learning environment for every student.

Children's House — Ages 3–6

Lower Elementary — Ages 6–9

Upper Elementary — Ages 9–12

A Montessori Education Rooted in Faith

In a Montessori classroom, students learn through hands-on materials, purposeful work, and guided independence. Lessons are designed to help children think deeply, work carefully, and develop a lasting love of learning (Proverbs 21:5).

At Kingdom West Montessori, academic growth is joined with spiritual formation, character development, and joyful discovery. We believe children learn best in an environment that is calm, ordered, and respectful, where each student is encouraged to grow at his or her own pace.

Our classrooms emphasize concentration, responsibility, and curiosity, while also helping students grow in kindness, patience, and confidence.

Children's House
Ages 3–6

Our Children's House classroom introduces children to the beauty of learning through the Montessori primary environment.

Students develop independence, coordination, language, and early math skills while learning to work with focus and care. The classroom is carefully prepared so that children can explore, practice, and master new skills through meaningful activity.

The Children's House classroom includes:

  • Practical life activities

  • Sensorial materials

  • Early reading and writing

  • Beginning mathematics

  • Art and music

  • Prayer and Scripture

  • Outdoor play

Young children learn to love order, wonder, and purposeful work, building the foundation for future learning.

Lower Elementary
Ages 6–9

In the Lower Elementary classroom, students build strong academic foundations while growing in responsibility and confidence.

Lessons become more advanced, and students begin to explore language, history, science, and mathematics in greater depth. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think carefully, and take ownership of their work.

In addition to core academic subjects, students in 3rd grade begin learning in the  Classical model, which lays a foundation for knowledge and a love of learning.  We also integrate music, drama, and group projects that help develop creativity and communication.

The Lower Elementary classroom includes:

  • Reading and writing

  • Mathematics

  • History and geography

  • Science

  • Latin introduction

  • Music and drama

  • Christian formation

  • Daily independent work

Students learn to work with greater focus while also developing strong habits of discipline and cooperation.

Upper Elementary
Ages 9–12

Upper Elementary students are ready for deeper thinking, greater responsibility, and more challenging work.

The Montessori environment allows students to grow in leadership, discipline, and intellectual curiosity. Combined with the Classical education model, students develop in character, understanding and truth-seeking. They continue Latin, study advanced mathematics and writing, and begin using technology in purposeful and limited ways.

Students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, to ask thoughtful questions, and to develop the habits that prepare them for the next stage of education.

The Upper Elementary classroom includes:

  • Advanced mathematics and language

  • History and science

  • Latin study

  • Writing and research

  • Music and drama

  • Christian worldview discussion

  • Purposeful technology use

  • Leadership opportunities

Our goal is to prepare students not only for the next level of school, but for a life of wisdom and character.
