Faith. Wonder. Wisdom.
Kingdom West Montessori is a PreK - 6th Christian Montessori school located in Naperville, Illinois. Our mission is to provide an education that forms the whole child — mind, heart, and spirit — through the beauty of Montessori learning and the truth of the Christian faith.
We believe children thrive in an environment that is peaceful, ordered, and purposeful, where academic growth, spiritual formation, and character development are woven together in daily life.

Our Beginning
Kingdom West Montessori is the first branch of Kingdom Education Center, founded in Long Island, New York by Joe and Monica Schiraldo.
What began with just seven students in a living room grew in only a few years into a thriving Christian Montessori school serving more than 200 children. Through prayer, perseverance, and a deep commitment to faithful education, the Schiraldos built a school community known for its warmth, strong academics, and Christ-centered formation.
Joe and Monica Schiraldo founded Kingdom Education Center with the desire to create a place where children could grow in wisdom, character, and faith without separating intellectual learning from spiritual life. Their vision has always been simple but profound: education should form the whole person.
As the Long Island campus grew, families and educators began asking how this model could be brought to other communities. Kingdom West Montessori was created as the first step in that expansion, bringing the same philosophy and spirit to the Chicago suburbs.
We are grateful to Joe and Monica for their leadership, their faith, and their willingness to share what they have built. Our goal in Bolingbrook is to carry that same vision forward while building a strong local community here in DuPage County.

Our Mission
The mission of Kingdom West Montessori is to cultivate wisdom, character, and faith through a Christ-centered Montessori education.
We seek to help children grow in love for God, love for learning, and love for others (Micah 6:8). We believe education should prepare students not only for the next stage of school, but for a life of purpose.
Our classrooms are designed to help children develop independence, responsibility, concentration, and confidence, while also learning to live with humility, kindness, and courage.
Why Montessori?
In a Montessori classroom, students learn through hands-on materials, purposeful work, and guided independence. Children are given freedom within clear limits, allowing them to grow in discipline, focus, and self-control.
Multi-age classrooms allow students to learn from one another and to grow at their own pace. Teachers guide and observe carefully, helping each child develop both academically and personally.
We believe the Montessori environment naturally encourages order, responsibility, and joy in learning, and provides a strong foundation for intellectual and spiritual growth.
Christian Formation
Faith is not an add-on at Kingdom West. It is part of daily life. Students pray together, learn Scripture, sing, and grow in understanding of God’s world. We seek to create an atmosphere where truth, beauty, and goodness are present in the classroom, relationships, and the work of each day.
We believe children are formed not only by what they are taught, but by what they experience. For this reason, we aim to create a school culture marked by respect, patience, gratitude, and love.
Our goal is to help students grow in faith, wonder, and wisdom as they mature in both knowledge and character.

Our Campus
Kingdom West Montessori is located in Napverville, Illinois.
Our classrooms are being prepared inside the church building, providing a peaceful and welcoming environment designed for learning, growth, and community. Beginning in a church setting allows us to start small, focus on what matters most, and build the school carefully from the very beginning.
We will begin with three classrooms:
Early Childhood — Ages 3–6
Lower Elementary — Ages 6–9
Upper Elementary — Ages 9–12
Starting with a small number of students allows us to maintain a calm atmosphere, strong relationships, and the personal attention that is essential to Montessori education.

Founding Families
We are currently enrolling students for our first school year.
Families who join now will become part of the founding class of Kingdom West Montessori. Founding families help shape the culture, traditions, and community that will guide the school for years to come.
Because we are beginning with a limited number of classrooms, enrollment is intentionally small. This allows us to build a strong foundation and create the kind of school environment where every child is known and every family is part of the life of the school.
If you are looking for a school where faith, learning, and character are taken seriously, we invite you to learn more about Kingdom West Montessori and begin the conversation with us.
