Kingdom West Montessori is a non-denominational Christian Montessori school serving Pre-K through 6th grade located in Naperville, Illinois. Our mission is to provide an education that forms the whole child — mind, heart, and spirit — through the beauty of Montessori learning, the depth of Classical education, and the truth of the Christian faith.
Our Mission
The mission of Kingdom West Montessori as a nonprofit organization is to provide accessible, Christ-centered Montessori education, cultivating wisdom, character, and faith. Blended Classical learning starting in 3rd grade enrich academic rigor, and prepare students to learn in different academic settings.
We seek to help children grow in love for God, love for learning, and love for others (Micah 6:8). We believe education should prepare students not only for the next stage of school, but for a life of purpose.
Our classrooms are designed to help children develop independence, responsibility, concentration, and confidence, while also learning to live with humility, kindness, and courage.
Our Beginning
Kingdom West Montessori is the first branch of Kingdom Education Center, founded in Long Island, New York by Joe and Monica Schiraldo.
What began with just seven students in a living room grew in only a few years into a thriving Christian Montessori school serving more than 200 children. Through prayer, perseverance, and a deep commitment to faithful education, the Schiraldos built a school community known for its warmth, strong academics, and Christ-centered formation.
Joe and Monica Schiraldo founded Kingdom Education Center with the desire to create a place where children could grow in wisdom, character, and faith without separating intellectual learning from spiritual life. Their vision has always been simple but profound: education should form the whole person.
As the Long Island campus grew, families and educators began asking how this model could be brought to other communities. Kingdom West Montessori was created as the first step in that expansion, bringing the same philosophy and spirit to the Chicago suburbs.
We are grateful to Joe and Monica for their leadership, their faith, and their willingness to share what they have built. Our goal in Naperville is to carry that same vision forward while building a strong local community here in DuPage County.
Our Campus
Kingdom West Montessori is located in Naperville, Illinois.
Our classrooms and gymnasium are inside the educational wing of a church building, providing a peaceful and welcoming environment designed for learning, growth, and community. Beginning in a church setting allows us to naturally foster faith through environment, start small, focus on what matters most, and build our school with care from the very beginning.
We will begin with three classrooms:
Children's House — Ages 3–6
Lower Elementary — Ages 6–9
Upper Elementary — Ages 9–12
Starting with a small number of students allows us to maintain a calm atmosphere, strong relationships, and the personal attention that is essential to Montessori education.

A Message from our Head of School:
Welcome to Kingdom West Montessori. It is a true joy to serve as Head of School during this exciting season of launching a new Christ-centered Montessori community. My journey in education—from homeschooling and parochial schools to Columbia University, Teach For America, and leadership in early childhood and Montessori programs throughout Chicagoland—has shaped my deep belief in purposeful, child-centered education that nurtures both excellence and character.
Montessori has also shaped my life as a parent, as I’ve watched my own daughter flourish in this environment with growing independence, curiosity, and compassion. At Kingdom West Montessori, our heart is to cultivate children who love learning, walk in wisdom and integrity, and understand their God-given value and purpose. We are honored to partner with families in building a peaceful, joyful, and Christ-centered school community.

Founding Families
We are currently enrolling students for our first school year.
Families who join now will become part of the founding class of Kingdom West Montessori. Founding families help shape the culture, traditions, and community that will guide the school for years to come.
Because we are beginning with a limited number of classrooms, enrollment is intentionally small. This allows us to build a strong foundation and create the kind of school environment where every child is known and every family is part of the life of the school.
